A Division of a Global Manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for their Waterloo facility. Individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of machinery and facilities. Responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, aimed at maximizing equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Individual will be developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules, conducting routine inspections, and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed. Experience troubleshooting skills to address complex mechanical, electrical, and structural issues, while also prioritizing safety compliance and promoting a culture of safety awareness among their team. responsibilities:

• Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians and staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

• Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

• Equipment Inspections and Repairs: Oversee routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards.

• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Provide technical expertise and guidance to maintenance staff in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and structural problems.

• Budget Management: Develop and manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting expenses, monitoring costs, and optimizing resource allocation to ensure cost-effective maintenance operations.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards by implementing safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among maintenance personnel.
