Parkview North Hospital Mental Health Assistant in Wabash, Indiana
Summary
This position will be responsible for providing direct patient care to all developmental populations which includes maintaining milieu/patient safety, providing skill building educational groups, and observing patient behavior/and pertinent documentation. Ability to drive PBH vehicles, transport patients, correspondence, mail, materials, cash, checks, and specimens within the hospital complex. Provides supportive services to promote optimal patient care.
Education
High School Diploma with some college classes preferred.
Licensure/Certification “Employment for this position beyond the sponsored project period of 05/30/2024 is contingent on continued external funding. Should the project agreement terminate prior to the end of the proposed project period or funding otherwise be unavailable, continued employment is not guaranteed. Severance will not be offered at the end of employment for this position.”
If assigned to drive company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required. If assigned to drive personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver’s license.
