Electrical Technician

An establish production company located in Valparaiso, IN is seeking multiple Electrical technicians to join their team. 401k and insurance benefits are offered immediately once hired.

Previous experience in PLC troubleshooting and production machinery maintenance is required.

Description:

• Performs routine preventative maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery

• Replaces or repairs parts on machines such as bearings, filter, wiring, valves, gauges and switches

• Replaces electrical parts on equipment

• Installs replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and tests equipment.

• Mechanical troubleshooting.

• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.

• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.

• Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.

• Lubricates and cleans parts and equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot relay logic & PLC Ladder logic

Qualifications:

• Electrical Troubleshooting

• 4 years of Electrical experience or Associates degree

• HS Diploma or GED

Environment:

The environment is very clean, and they have implemented new safety and SOP's. Pay rates will be increasing yearly and employee's have the option to work in the Union or not.

Shift: 3rd Shift (7pm - 7am) 2-2-3 schedule
