Overview The Sector Level Equipment Innovation Sales Manager will function as the SME for Technology and Equipment Innovation development. They will help develop the sector strategy, set the agenda, and contribute to the AOP for the various Technology and Equipment Solutions. They will work directly in both virtual and on-site meetings with the respective National, Division, FOBO, and Industry customers to deliver PepsiCo excellence in product launches. This work will include; Training, QandA Support, Oversight, Delivering Project Goals, and Reporting Out.

This position reports directly to the Sector Director of Equipment and Technology Innovation, but will have critical interface responsibility across Sales, Strategy, IT, Finance, Warehouse, and GTM.

Responsibilities Sales Leadership, Tech and Equipment SME, and Cross-Functional Collaboration

Strategic Sales - Lead PEP XF collaboration and problem solving on Equipment Innovation, with various internal and external partners. - Collaborate on building business models, strategic plans, and vision for EI. - Voice on behalf of our customers the needs and opportunities for EI. - Develop Sales plan and customer targets for scale-up. - Create training and Sell-in collateral. - Train PEP Division and National Sales organization, Harmonize with GTM, Sales Ops, Other X-functional. - Drive Customer onboarding - Coordinate with various partner/suppliers to improve/expedite process(s). - Manage and monitor customer commitments. - Support Customers through the Sales process to reach commitments. - Lead Sales responsibilities for Delivery/commercialization. - Understanding of the broader opportunity, uncovering problems to solve, and offering solutions. - Brining others along on the vision to deliver against the PSP and AOP. - Uncovering Best Practices and Building sustainable sales agendas for respective solutions. - Create training and support materials - sell decks and tools.

Subject Matter Expert - Develop comprehensive expertise on all facets of the solutions and structural inclusion in the PEP enterprise. - Devote time to working with suppliers and internal functional leads to develop knowledge. - Train the broader organization / Develop training materials. - Offer and Set recommendations for process / systems improvements. - Offer insights into future development.

Collaboration - Bring others along on the vision and strategy of PEP innovation solutions to ensure cohesive delivery. - Build alliances for support and problem resolution. - Optimize resources and recommendations to deliver effective and efficient recommendations.

Deliver Plans

  • Constant monitoring of performance and be quick to identify/isolate Upside or Challenges to Plan.
  • Identify root causes of issues that contribute to favorability or unfavourability to Plan.

KPIs - Units/Execution Placements. - Training and Selling Tools Development. - Constituent Training metrics. - Cross-Functional team feedback.

Compensation and Benefits: - The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,800 - $172,100 based on a full-time schedule. - Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. - Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually. - Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. - In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.

Qualifications - BA/BS/MBA preferred, in related course of study. - Must have 3-5 years of experience in sales. - Ability to train with positive emotion o small and large groups in person and via Zoom. - Proven track record of exerting organizational influence to achieve required objectives - collaboration with cross functional teams. - Basic understanding of PepsiCo Technology and Equipment, with the Ability to develop new equipment, technology, and systems innovation acumen. - Strong computer skills - demonstrate competence and comfort with various systems tools and software (MS PowerPoint and Excel). - Ability to demonstrate Analytical Capability - developing insights and making recommendations from various data sets. - This role provides opportunity to work from home with 30% of National Travel. - This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
