Pay:$15.00 per hour, based on experience
Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Duties: - Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and safe environment - Follow care plans and document client progress - Adhere to resident rights and maintain confidentiality - Provide direct support to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities - Assist with hospice care for terminally ill clients
Experience: - Previous experience in care-giving or related field preferred - Knowledge of medication administration and proper dosage - Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities - Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality - Ability to provide compassionate care and emotional support to clients - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening - CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) - Physical stamina to perform duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Benefits: - Competitive pay rates based on experience - Flexible scheduling options - Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
