Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper in Noblesville, Indiana. The role involves handling customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The successful candidate will work in the telecom provider industry and will have a strong understanding of account reconciliation, bookkeeping, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries and issues effectively

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Use accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties

• Perform bank reconciliations and month-end close processes

• Manage payroll processes and ensure all payments are processed accurately and on time

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection laws

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the field of bookkeeping. Requirements • Proficiency in Bookkeeping and Data Entry

• Demonstrated experience in Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Payroll processes

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
