Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing and Sales Manager in the automotive manufacturing industry. This role involves overseeing both procurement and sales activities, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, cost optimization, and driving sales growth. Ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials while maximizing sales performance and customer satisfaction is the primary goal of this position.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to source automotive components and materials.

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

• Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers effectively.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings and value for the company.

• Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.

• Manage inventory levels to ensure a continuous supply of materials while minimizing excess stock.

• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Implement inventory control measures to avoid stockouts and overstocking.

• Ensure all purchased materials and components meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.

• Collaborate with the quality control team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.

• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and purchasing data to make informed procurement decisions.

• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

• Identify and mitigate risks related to the supply chain and procurement process.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of purchasing professionals.

• Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide training and development opportunities for team members.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand market presence.

• Analyze market trends and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

• Maintain and build relationships with key clients and automotive manufacturers.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through effective communication and service.

• Manage and lead a team of sales representatives.

• Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide training and support to the sales team.

• Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management.

• Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.

• Negotiate sales contracts and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of three years of experience in a purchasing role

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the Manufacturing and Automotive Industry

• Proficient in Purchasing Management activities and strategies

• Ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently and in a team environment

• Proficient in the use of computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred

• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn necessary systems

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
