Our client is hiring for an Accounting Manager with our client's manufacturing facility in Mooresville, Indiana. The role involves overseeing accounting functions, managing others, and utilizing software systems and tools for efficient operation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of the accounting department in a manufacturing facility

• Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support

• Conduct auditing as required to ensure compliance and accuracy

• Manage billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing

• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring all journal entries and accruals are completed accurately

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for efficient and accurate accounting operations

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in a manufacturing environment

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing is required

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Familiarity with Plex and Plex Manufacturing ERP preferred

• Knowledge of Month End Close processes

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related filed is required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
