Job Summary
The Coating Line Operator is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the Armor Plastic Coating Line. Qualified candidates must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time, follow instruction, and problem solve. This role requires a self-starter with proven ability to be efficient and productive.
Primary Duties
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use various hand tools
Read and understand the Bill of Materials, Assembly drawings/prints, and manufacturing instructions
Responsible for accurate and efficient loading, inspection, unloading, masking, sawing and routine maintenance of the coating line
Be able to operate any station on the line
Identify defective items according to set policies and report issues immediately
Meet all safety and quality requirements
Maintain effective workplace housekeeping to prevent injuries and inefficiency
Able to operate material handling equipment
Visually see defects in plastic sheets
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will be driven, detail oriented, and have a strong work ethic. To be successful, you must be able to multitask, prioritize, self-manage time efficiently, problem solve and be a self-starter. Previous experience in manufacturing preferred. Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
