Job Title: Production Associate Occupation: CNC Machine Operator
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to maintain and operate technologically advanced machinery. You'll ensure the continuous and efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to master new skills, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player and following instructions are essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers and management. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency, quality, and profits.
Responsibilities
- Maintain machine operation through a production cycle
- Control, adjust machine settings, and change cutting tools (e.g. inserts and blades)
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Fix minor issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine related mistakes or material flaws
- Perform preventive maintenance (e.g. clean up, oiling, adding fluids)
- Keep production and quality records
- Maintain various activity logs
Skills
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator
- Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulation (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Ability to read and comprehend general schematic prints and instructions
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Moderate physical stamina and strength
- Proficient in the English Language
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
