LaGrange County Government Sheriff's Deputy in LAGRANGE, Indiana
LaGrange County is accepting applications for a Deputy for the LaGrange County Sheriffs Office. Incumbent is responsible for the enforcement of the laws of the State and protection County residents and their property.
Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Candidates are required to have completed or be able to complete the Law Enforcement Officer training by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and pass a physical agility test. Preferred candidates will have law enforcement experience, strength in conflict resolution, strong problem solving skills, good understanding of State and local laws, and value the importance of a safe and family oriented community.
Position is a full-time with benefits which include health, dental, vision, and free life insurance, excellent pension plan, paid time off, and paid holidays. Hourly, non-exempt position with an annual wage of $63,148.
