Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Software Development Lead for a two year contract for a large client in the Fintech industry. This individual will a working software development lead, 70% of their time will be doing hands on development and testing the products and user interface. The other 30% of this role will be involved in meetings and mentoring junior team members. The reason for this growth is to support moving a legacy boarding and servicing platform to a more modern solution. 60% of the development will be within React focusing on UI development from the ground up, the other 40% will be development in Java. This team is integrating Apigee to allow partners to integrate and make adjustments as needed. You will follow traditional SDLC Agile practices, and make sure documentation is up to date in Rally. All developers on the team will also be responsible for reviewing test cases written by test engineers. You will be performing test driven development, testing the UI/UX, performing unit testing as well as accessibility testing. This is a fully remote role that will be working primarily Eastern time hours with a targeted pay rate in the rang of $50/hr-$65/hr depending on experience level.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ Years of experience working as a Full Stack Developer (React and Java)

• 2+ years of experience working with GCP

• Professional experience working in a DevOps environment with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines

• Professional experience utilizing test driven development - Apigee API Management experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Experience working within a Fintech company

• Architecture experience (technical/solution design)

• Experience with Kubernetes or Jenkins null
