Job Title: Cytotechnologist - Travel Technician

We are hiring for a Travel Cytotechnologist here in the Indiana area! The role will pay between $65 - 80/hour and will be based on experience. This travel role will be for a 1 year assignment! Must have at least 1 year of working Cytotechnologist experience to be considered for the role.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Cytologist to join our team at the Indianapolis Central Laboratory Services location. This role involves supporting the establishment of a new high-volume gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology service. Responsibilities include screening and evaluating specimens for abnormalities, operating laboratory instruments, maintaining quality control, generating final reports, and ensuring compliance with lab and CLIA guidelines. You will also assist in training junior personnel and support clinical trials involving cytology services. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field

• Completion of an accredited Cytology program

• ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification

Job Type

This is a travel contract position with a duration of 52 weeks.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Environment

Work is generally performed in a laboratory environment with exposure to blood borne pathogens and potential exposure to hazardous chemicals. The schedule is primarily on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with some flexibility. Weekends are not mandatory but can be worked occasionally for overtime.
