The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a Medical Company to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their team. This is a fully remote position but you must live in Indiana for occasional onsite meetings.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes Financial Data: Reviews journal entries and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Maintains Account Accuracy: Oversees the account reconciliation process, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

• Creates Financial Reports: Prepares or audits monthly financial reports that clearly reflect the company's financial health and future outlook.

• Conducts Financial Analysis: Leads or coordinates the analysis of financial records, trends, and costs to identify areas for improvement.

• Ensures Regulatory Compliance: Oversees the annual medical loss ratio submission for regulatory requirements.

• Supports Premium Development: Prepares analyses and reports used by actuaries to develop accurate insurance premiums.

• Contributes to Budget Planning: Assists in creating and developing the annual operating budget.

• Maintains Operational Efficiency: Performs additional tasks assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and the company

  Requirements

• Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field OR Two (2) years of related experience with an associate degree OR Four (4) years of related experience with a high school diploma.

• Must have five (5) years of experience in accounting or finance with increasing responsibility and knowledge of accounting practices (GAAP).

• Preferred: Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Preferred: Two (2) years of experience and knowledge of HMO or PPO (healthcare).

• Must have knowledge of financial analysis and auditing principles.
