Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Customer Service Representative!. The Senior Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving escalated issues, and serving as a mentor and resource for other customer service team members. This long-term contract/contract-to-hire opportunity is based in the Indianapolis, IN area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling escalated customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.

  • Resolving complex customer issues promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Serving as a point of contact for difficult or sensitive customer situations and providing appropriate solutions.

  • Mentoring and training junior customer service representatives to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Monitoring and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs) for response times and resolution rates.

  • Collaborating with other departments to address customer concerns and improve overall customer experience.

  • Identifying trends in customer issues and providing feedback to management to drive process improvements.

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures.

  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.

  • Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment by sharing knowledge and best practices.

    Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification; bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience as a customer service representative, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and other customer service tools.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and exceeding customer expectations.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
