Production Operator in Indianapolis, IN

1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm

Starting Pay: $22.68/hr.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing manual and machine supported tasks to fill, inspect, assemble, cap, freeze, label, and/or package PPG and/or non-PPG products.
• Assembles components in proper sequence using appropriate devices/equipment.
• Visually inspects assemblies/mix freeze for proper fit of components, operates test jigs, and/or records readings of results.
• Operates label application equipment, as required.
• Accurately calculates number of tubes and/or material required for each order and performs basic calculations to ensure appropriate ratio of material available or required to complete work orders per instruction.
• Participates in 5S activities. Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times. Performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
