Job Description:
Primary Purpose:
Change Management leader for the Procurement organization as it relates to Product Line Team (PLT) cross-functional program management and sustaining project implementation.
Key Job Elements
Serves as Product Line Team lead for Procurement organization on the cross-functional product based business team
Communicates program deliverables to appropriate collaborators
Develops and manages a system for tracking a plan for every part on key programs. This plan defines all of the characteristics of a manufacturing facility, including items such as the type and number of components, cycle times, capacity, frequency of deliveries and quantity per container
Communicate program deliverables to appropriate collaborators
Prepares and presents executive summaries as requested
Updates key program data in corporate business systems (SAP)
Leads “should cost” activities on major programs by analyzing expected costs incurred through evaluating such variables as materials, labor, overhead, and profit margin
Participates in the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process in support of program implementation. APQP is considered a structured approach to the design and development of new products and manufacturing processes within the automotive and transportation industries
Tracks and manage open questions and action items between team members
Manages and presents on a weekly basis the key metrics on the programs and projects managed to peers and cross-functional leadership team
Mentor peers with less experience on processes associated with the business, products, Product Line Teams or program management
Demonstrates expertise in data analysis, project coordination, project management, inventory management, budget management, auditing and more
Collaborates with commodity managers and others to assess viability of potential supply base prior to source selections
Ensures required program documentation or other records are organized and retained according to corporate guidelines
Prepares, analyzes, and selects methods of presenting various statistical or technical data for management
Manages ongoing relationships with various customers and resolves conflicts as needed
Performs special activities, projects, and assignments as requested

Advanced oral and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills: Project Management, Excel, Power point, Word, Outlook, ERP, MS Project, etc.
Interprets technical drawings / blueprints and understand basic engineering documents.

Experience
Required:
5+ years' experience in the automotive, heavy-duty transportation, or other associated manufacturing industry
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
