The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a healthcare clinic in the Indianapolis area to add a Medical Billing Team Lead to their team.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm

Responsibilities for the position include the following:

• Oversee the workflow: You'll ensure our Follow-Up department and billers operate efficiently, meeting deadlines and maximizing revenue.

• Delegate effectively: You'll assign tasks to staff based on their strengths and workload.

• Be a claims champion: You'll personally follow up on complex accounts and denied/rejected claims, ensuring timely resolution.

• Maintain quality control: You'll conduct spot checks to confirm accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in billing practices.

• Empower your team: You'll be a patient and supportive leader, readily answering staff questions and providing clear guidance.

• Develop your team's skills: You'll mentor and coach team members, providing training on new techniques and best practices.

• Analyze and improve: You'll identify trends in claims resolution, recommending process improvements to the manager.

• Track progress and manage workflow: You'll utilize tools and strategies to effectively track performance and manage team workload.

• Make informed decisions: You'll exercise sound judgment when choosing methods and techniques for successful claim resolution.

• Foster teamwork: You'll promote a collaborative environment, readily assisting team members and fostering a supportive atmosphere.

  Requirements

• 5 Years Billing Experience Required

• Knowledge of CPT and I10 Coding

• Knowledge of 3rd party payor reimbursement practices

• 2 years Medical Billing AR Supervisory experience a must

• Advantix billing software experience is preferred but not required
