TEKsystems Medical Billing Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana

TEKsystems is hiring an on-site Billing Specialist for one of our Medical Equipment and Supplies Clients in Indianapolis, IN!

Location:

  • On-site on the NW side of Indianapolis

Hours: M-F 8a-5p

Pay:

  • $19-20/hr - 1+ years of experience

  • $21-22/hr - 3+ years of experience

Description:

  • Submits claims accurately and timely.

  • Process appeals and denials.

  • Monitor, identify and resolve claim discrepancies.

  • General knowledge of accounting principles and medical claims.

  • Follow up with payers regarding claims.

  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

  • Resolves any customer requests in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must Have:

  • 2+ years data entry experience

  • Experience in a medical billing position that deal with claims, denials, appeals, and redetermination

  • Microsoft Excel Understanding

  • HME or CRM experience

  • Detail-oriented

  • Nice Haves:

  • Brightree HME experience

  • Durable Medical Equipment experience (DME)

  • Healthcare or diabetic industry experience
