PPG Industries Customer Service Representative - JR2421061 in Indianapolis, Indiana

PPG Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative at our Indianapolis site. This position is the main point of contact for the customer and therefore the face of PPG. You must ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is always met. In this role, you will be responsible for the areas of order administration, distribution, communication, and support to the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Promptly respond to and take action to provide customer quotes, orders, inquiries, and invoicing issues in an integral and professional manner
  • Data entry
  • Issue customer quotes
  • Create and manage sales orders
  • Ensure that customer requests are responded to in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain constant communication and provide regular reports and status updates
  • Perform purchase order reviews
  • Resolve Customer account inquiries where required
  • Operation of various computer packages including QAD, Excel, and other window-based applications.

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Previous experience within the Aerospace industry preferred
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
