Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Credit Clerk role in the bustling city of Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is pivotal within our team, primarily focusing on the processing of customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. By joining our team, you will contribute to the smooth running of our operations in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Review payment requests to ensure all requirements are received prior to processing

• Process all payments and transfers among bank accounts (e.g. wire, ACH)

• Review and process bank exceptions for positive pay

• Assist with research and account reconciliation

• Utilize key skills such as Wire Transfer, EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer, and Microsoft Excel to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in handling Wire Transfer operations

• Familiarity with EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer

• Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel

• Prior experience in credit handling or related roles

• Ability to maintain records accurately and organize data efficiently

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• High standard of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on accurate data analysis.
