Job Title: CAD Designer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer/Drafter to create detailed technical drawings, bills of materials, and shop prints for manufacturing projects. This opportunity offers an exciting chance to work under the direction of a designer, allowing you to gain invaluable industry knowledge. Your role will primarily involve designing and updating existing drawings, with occasional design from scratch. In this role, you will be using AutoCAD, Inventor and potentially an ERP system. You will also have the chance to support production on the shop floor, maintain organized records, and collaborate effectively across teams. This position is critical in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Hard Skills

• 4+ years of experience working within AutoCAD Inventor

• Design experience within sheet metal, steel, aluminum

• 4+ years of experience working within ERP System

• Degree in computer-aided drafting or related field preferred

Soft Skills

• Strong Communication - possess ability to work cross functionally with manufacturing team on deadlines

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 7 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NA, Indiana.

Work Environment

Our work environment consists of 45 to 50 employees onsite, with a 1st shift that is fully onsite Monday through Friday (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST). Our workspace is a steel / metal fabrication environment, equipped with CNC's, Piranha Metal Fab Equipment, Drills & Presses. The CAD team works closely with sales & manufacturing to ensure the delivery of a quality product to our customers.
