Essential Job Functions –

  • Responsible for ensuring all agreed Network deliverables are met.

  • Provides a conduit between our account management, network operations, project, engineering, architecture, other DXC support groups, client counterparts and other third-party network service providers or suppliers where required.

  • Understand the accounts businesses and how networks can best support the account

  • Ensures there is an architecture standard being followed by Network delivery Team, bringing consistency to our delivery, ensuring solutions implemented are properly documented and can be supported by Operations team.

  • Reviews and approves all planned network changes

  • Provides weekly and/or monthly reporting for leadership and account needs

  • Interacts with the client on network plans or issues.

  • Engages for Severity Incidents to provide leadership and technical input for our operations team. May provide root cause explanations to the account and client.

  • Ensures that networks remain stable and proactively searches out risks.

Basic Qualifications –

  • 7+ years of Network experience that would include Operations and Design.

  • Must have experience working in large and complex environments, datacenter experience preferred.

  • Fully understand network topologies, TCP/IP, and have a working knowledge of network protocols and devices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication experience.

  • Experience engaging with customer for purposes of consulting, proposals, and communicating technical nework matters.

  • Must be highly organized and able to multi-task

  • Ability to work after-hours or weekend as needed for critical Network Change or Incidents.

  • be flexible and creative to adapt to environments where functional and business objectives evolve and change rapidly.

  • be a capable individual contributor with ability to work with other departments and coordinate activities. Strong customer service skills are essential.

  • have proven ability to manage vendor relationships, translate business requirements into technical delivery plans, and execute plans into Delivery.

  • keep abreast of changes in technology currently deployed.

Other Qualifications –

  • Cisco certification are a plus

  • Cloud migration and transformation experience

  • Network architecture experience is a big plus.

Location – Indianapolis, Indiana

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $65,800 - $122,100.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
