Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. The selected candidate will be joining our team to help manage our accounts receivable processes. This role involves tasks such as processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records

• Resolving customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitoring customer credit accounts regularly to identify any irregularities

• Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Extracting reports from our internal system for the purpose of resolving chargebacks

• Utilizing software like Adobe to update sections of our forms for payments

• Disputing chargebacks in our payment system

• Assisting in the completion of chargebacks on a monthly basis

• Assisting in the write-off process and pull/cancellation process when necessary

• Utilizing accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites effectively for various accounting functions

• Processing checks and managing cash activity as part of accounts receivable and billing functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Experience with IBM AS/400

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Ability to handle Cash Activity

• Experience with Check Processing
