Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Description
Aston Carter is seeking an Accounting Manager in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves direct reporting to the Sr. Accounting Manager and managing two direct reports: an AR Specialist and an AP Specialist. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing accounts payable and receivable tasks alongside their team.
Responsibilities
Manage the A/R entry and processing function
Manage release of Sub-Contractor payments
Post Cash Receipts
Prepare monthly billings
Maintain Billing Analysis Data & Reporting
Set up and maintain job contracts and subcontracts in the accounting system
Assist with end of year Financial Audit
Support Special Projects and Reporting Requests
Assist in developing workflow process improvements
Perform all full charge bookkeeping functions for a Joint Venture
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience with Jonas (accounting software)
AIA Billing experience
Joint Venture experience
Work Environment
Work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. The Accounting Manager will have their own office within a building shared by four other accounting professionals.
