Aerotek 1st Shift Machinist in HOWE, Indiana

Job Title: Machinist

Job Description

Join our Tooling Department as a Machinist where you will engage in custom machining work, creating tools and fixtures for molds and machines. You will operate 1-2 Haas CNC 3 Axis Vertical machines, handling setups and operations. Your responsibilities will include reading blueprints, deburring parts, and working with tolerances of +/- .005.

Hard Skills

  • Operation of Haas CNC 3 Axis Vertical machines

  • Ability to set up CNC machines

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints

  • Working with precise tolerances

Soft Skills

  • Understanding of machine language and control systems

  • Adaptability to work in non-climate controlled environments

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in HOWE, Indiana.

Work Environment

The facility is a hot manufacturing environment without climate control, particularly very hot during summer. Candidates should be comfortable working under these conditions. The work hours are flexible, with one opening from 7 am to 3 pm.
