Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician responsible for performing preventative and reactive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs to various equipment, including motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, melters, furnaces, ovens, water cooling systems, vibratory equipment/tables, shaking equipment/tables, coilers, blenders, and scales. A High School Diploma or GED is required. The shift schedule is Sunday 8pm-4am (to startup equipment for Monday production); Monday-Thursday 10pm-6am, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and reactive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

  • Work on motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, melters, furnaces, ovens, water cooling systems, vibratory equipment/tables, shaking equipment/tables, coilers, blenders, and scales.

  • Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase.

  • Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and use of a voltmeter.

  • Ensure equipment startup for production on Monday mornings.

Essential Skills

  • Industrial mechanical maintenance experience (PMs, hydraulics, pneumatics, oven troubleshooting)

  • Basic electrical troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase (LOTO / voltmeter)

  • Safety-minded, attentive to details, and a good work ethic

  • High School Diploma or GED

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-year electrical certificate or 10+ years industrial electrical experience with 480v

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics

  • Ability to read ladder logic, check inputs/outputs, and make minor PLC edits

  • PLC Troubleshooting / Programming
