ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Audit and implement accounts payable transactions
Reconcile accounts payable and maintain payment records
Issue and maintain credit applications as necessary
Support monthly closings
Assist with 1099 tax forms
Assist in processing of checks, wire and vendor auditing, and auditing subcontractors
Responsible for scanning invoices, processing incoming accounts payable mail
General administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Accounting/Business preferred and / or o ne (1) to two (2) years of experience in general accounting required
Knowledge of accounting, auditing, payroll and invoicing preferred
Experience in analyzing payables, charts of accounts, debits/credits, and financial statements preferred
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Problem solving skills with high degree of attention to detail
Self-motivated; ability to work independently
Good written and verbal communication skills
