Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and efficient Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Gary, Indiana. This role will be instrumental in our construction company, focusing on customer credit applications, record maintenance, and credit inquiries resolution. The position will also entail close monitoring of customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintaining up-to-date and precise customer credit records

• Resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Managing construction billing, AIA billings, and waivers of lien

• Handling time and material invoicing, lump sum, and progress billing

• Assisting with certified payroll

• Utilizing skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Microsoft Excel, AIA Billing, Viewpoint Vista, and Lien Waivers

• Adhering to company policies and industry regulations

• Collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Must have at least 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar.

• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks and processes.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, able to create and manipulate spreadsheets effectively.

• Experience with AIA Billing is necessary.

• Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista software is a strong advantage.

• Knowledge of Lien Waivers and their application in the accounts receivable process.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the job is located.
