**Inclusive Program Coordinator (32033)

Join Purdue University Fort Wayne:We are currently seeking a full-time on-site Inclusive Program Coordinator. The Inclusive Program Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI) while serving as the coordinator to ODEI initiatives and programming.

Primary Responsibilities:**

  • Serve as a representative to the CDO with internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist CDO and assistant CDO with: the preparation of agendas, meeting arrangements, travel accommodations, travel itineraries, purchasing, budget reports, etc.
  • Collaborate with chancellors assistant to coordinate schedules for travel, donor meetings, community meetings, etc.
  • Process and reconcile CDOs travel and expense records.
  • Coordinate a comprehensive calendar of events for the CDO and advise on these events weekly.
  • Oversee all summer programs and partner with ODEI staff and external organizations on special projects.
  • Assist ODEI with website and social media content creation and platform updates.
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage current internal and external grants while securing additional outside grants.
  • Manage all ODEI internal grant programs i.e. IN Space Consortium--Stem Program.
  • Coordinate student retention efforts, data collection, and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree.
  • Previous experience providing customer service in a professional office environment amongst a diverse population.
  • A motivated self-starter with excellent follow-up and follow through in all matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer and related software skills, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, database, data inquiry, internet, etc.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Able to work efficiently with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to respond to inquiries in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule.
