We are offering an opportunity for an Accountant to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role involves managing the accounts for several businesses within the manufacturing, packing, ecommerce, and import/export industries. The person in this role will be primarily responsible for bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and using QuickBooks desktop. This role offers a short term project employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the books for multiple businesses

• Conduct regular account reconciliation

• Utilize QuickBooks desktop for various accounting tasks

• Maintain financial records for all the businesses

• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform regular audits to ensure financial information accuracy

• Assist in budget processes

• Handle intercompany accounting tasks

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts.

Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge and understanding of Auditing practices

• Familiarity with Budget Processes and their implementation

• Experience in managing Intercompany Accounting tasks

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management

• Ability to perform Account Reconciliation tasks effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
