Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Technician, where you will be responsible for operating extrusion equipment crucial for producing high-quality thermoplastic resins. This role requires adherence to standard work methods and safe work practices to maximize efficiency and ensure safety. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating extrusion/injection molding equipment, filling machine hoppers with the correct material, adjusting machine parameters, cleaning equipment, observing operations to detect defects or malfunctions, operating a forklift, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 480 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Evansville, Indiana.

Work Environment

The environment is family-friendly and cleaner, with a somewhat climate-controlled setting. It is dustier in the blender room but clean in other areas. Associates are frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations. Noise levels can be loud, and temperatures vary with the seasons. The role involves standing, walking, using hands, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Shifts are 12 hours, with a rotation of 3 days on and 4 days off, requiring flexibility for overtime and weekend hours.
