Talley Medical-Surgical Eye Care Associates Ophthalmic Technician in Evansville, Indiana
Talley Eye Institute, a thriving ophthalmology practice is seeking professional, reliable and health care-oriented individuals for their technician departments. Duties include patient workups, obtaining patient medical histories, specialized diagnostic testing, assisting with patient care, patient education, minor procedures, and other duties as assigned. Occasional same day travel is required (travel to satellite offices). Some medical experience is preferred. Excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Acquaint all new patients with office procedures to which they will be exposed
- Inform patients of the purpose of all tests performed, and how the patient will be affected during the tests
- Performs accurate and consistent documentation and measurement tasks
- Maintains a smooth flow of patients to the physician, altering the test sequence as required
- Provides telephone support regarding patient care questions
- Communicates with reception desk to facilitate proper patient flow
- Maintains cleanliness in exam and procedure rooms
- Perform other duties as required
