Description

We are offering a role for a Patient Access Specialist, located in Elwood, Indiana. This role is within the healthcare industry and provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. The position is a short term contract employment opportunity, providing critical services for our operation.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient patient access to our healthcare services.

• Utilize a variety of software systems including Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, Epic Software, Kronos Timekeeping System, and About Time.

• Perform key administrative tasks such as handling Benefit Functions and Billing Functions.

• Support Clinical Trial Operations by coordinating and managing patient access.

• Deliver excellent Customer Service by resolving patient inquiries and issues.

• Handle patient scheduling and coordinate appointments.

• Maintain patient records and ensure data accuracy.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient access processes.

• Assist in patient check-in and check-out procedures.

• Adhere to healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements • Proficiency in EHR SYSTEM, Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and Epic Software

• Familiarity with Kronos Timekeeping System and About Time

• Demonstrated ability in Benefit Functions and Billing Functions

• Experience with Clinical Trial Operations

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
