[JOB SUMMARY[: **[Responsible for managing, developing, integrating and interpreting highway asset management data systems and continually ensuring the accuracy, consistency and completeness of the data.

• Baccalaureate Degree or completion of an in-depth, specialized training program in civil or software engineering, data analytics, geographic information systems, and/or equivalent Highway Department Asset Management training; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, and an in-depth knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database management software applications
• Ability to analyze, compile and present a wide range of asset management data in support of standard practices, strategies, state and local regulations and grant applications
• Ability to anticipate and respond to changes affecting data requirements such as updates to ordinances, regulations, software, hardware and data security enhancements
• Provide asset management database training to staff as needed
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen
