Electrical Planner

Job Description

As an Electrical Planner, you will expedite work orders and requests, schedule both routine and non-routine related maintenance projects, and prepare required equipment and parts to complete work efficiently. You will be responsible for determining and documenting all applicable safety procedures and practices via job planning. Additionally, you will coordinate and plan maintenance activities to maximize production efficiencies, troubleshoot issues, and maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and follow-up work.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in East Chicago, Indiana.

Work Environment

The position is based in a plant located in East Chicago, IN, which is a pivotal facility implementing and testing new manufacturing practices. The work environment is casual, requiring jeans and a hard hat when on the floor. Uniforms are provided. The team comprises 14 maintenance employees, 4 electricians, and 10 millwrights. The plant hosts 140 employees. Facilities include a large parking lot in a gated complex, an onsite kitchen, and limited local food options. The work schedule is a day shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
