Our Walmart Optical Lab manufacturing division focuses on delivering the Walmart Promise, "Live Better Save Money" in the realm of Optical eyewear manufacturing. We are hiring a full-time Security Specialist, H&W Field that will work Monday through Friday from 11am until 7pm (Floater) for our Optical Lab in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Will complete and pass all core components of the Physical Security Specialist Training Academy within 90 days of job entry date and will maintain them while employed in this position

• 1 year of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military, Emergency Services, or related field

• 1-3 years' experience with data analytics and Microsoft Office

Job Duties Include:

• Develops and implements processes and practices to meet business needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

• Demonstrates and supports compliance with company policies and standards, and addresses ethical and compliance issues and problems.

• Leads and participates in teams to achieve timelines and work quality, and ensures regulatory and corporate policy compliance.

• Supports the development and implementation of protocols, programs, and training to ensure compliance and provide tactical responses to emergency situations.

• Implements security systems and strategies to respond to emergency situations and investigates reported corporate facility threats, allegations of policy violations, criminal activity, security breaches, and complaints.

• Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external partners to promote a safe working environment and provides tactical emergency responses during life safety incidents.

• Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners, and adapting to change, difficulties, and feedback.

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The hourly wage range for this position is $14.00-$22.50*

‎

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
