ICI Services Additive Manufacturing Engineer in Crane, Indiana
ICI Services is looking for motivated individuals who want to join our team in Crane, IN. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Services, and Technical Services to government clients in 14 states and the District of Columbia. We need an Additive Manufacturing (AM) Mechanical Engineer ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Utilize experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives
Be responsible for scheduling, resolving issues, tracking material availability, and advising on material usage
Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships
Be responsible for achieving all aspects of production operation including safety, scheduling, quality, and team development
Plan and implement process-engineering activities for new product development and current product support
Provide manufacturing method development and improvement for current and new products
Determine safe manufacturing processes that produce a quality product in the most efficient method of manufacture
Investigate and apply new technology
Assist supervisors and production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems
Conduct training, process planning, evaluate operating methods, select controls, and specify tools, fixtures, and gages as appropriate
Ensure that the manufacturing engineering system is properly maintained
Pursue continuous improvement for quality improvements and resource reductions
Minimum 5 years of Additive Manufacturing (AM) Experience
Experience in the entire product development process related to AM, including but not limited to, design, prototyping or rapid prototyping, material selection, production, and post-processing for each AM technique.
Experience in at least 4 of the 7 ASTM F42 AM Processes, with experience in VAT Photo polymerization (SLA&DLP;), Material Jetting, Binder Jetting, Material Extrusion (FDM), and Powder Bed Fusion (DMLS & SLS) most desirable.
Must have experience in Direct Metal Laser Sintering, Material Jetting, and Material Extrusion (FDM)
Experience using the ProX300 direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) printer from 3D Systems and the Dimension 1200es sst plastic fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printer from Stratasys a significant plus.
