Our top client known for being the leading domestic manufacturer or wheelchair accessible vans and lifts is seeking a software engineer who is not afraid to get their hands dirty! This engineer will be owning all of their work from development to testing and will own their code. Our client is open to entry level candidates as well with internship experience.

Responsibilities:

• Write code for communication to and from our Modules.

• Write code to control functions of motors, actuators, and various other outputs.

• Update code of existing Modules to bring up to date.

• Write code that will Interface with OEM vehicles (Specifically CAN based messaging)

• Write computer software to allow for a graphical interface from dealer techs to the BraunAbility controller.

• Connect to stock vehicles and reverse engineer/decipher CAN/LIN messages.

• Debug, Document, and Maintain all created software.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

• ITAR compliant

• 1-5 years of experience with embedded C or C+

• • RTOS experience

• Microcontroller or Microprocessor experience

• CAN communication protocols
