Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Carmel, Indiana. This role is deeply rooted in the telecom industry, requiring on-site presence. The focus of this role is to manage the accounts payable and receivable, along with other accounting functions, in a fast-paced environment where processes are being established.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable to ensure smooth financial operations

• Utilize accounting software systems such as Quickbooks Online and Great Plains for efficient work execution

• Perform month-end accounting activities to ensure timely closure of accounts

• Apply sound auditing practices to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards

• Assist in budget processes and maintain accurate financial records

• Utilize ADP for financial services to streamline financial processes

• Take proactive measures to manage and collect delinquent payments from customers

• Contribute to the establishment of new processes to alleviate the challenges faced by the department

• Collaborate with the team to ensure all accounting functions are performed efficiently and effectively. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary

• Must be skilled in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prior experience in Auditing is preferred

• Knowledge of Budget Processes is desirable

• Proficiency in Quickbooks Online is a plus
