[CrossRoad Engineers is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Transportation Design group. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong technical background. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for client interaction and career advancement. Must be a registered Professional Engineer in Indiana.

• Manage and oversee staff working on varied tasks (including subconsultant), manage and direct project execution including adherence to scopes, budgets, schedules and implementing quality control procedures.
• Possess positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
• Mentoring and development of staff.
• Ability to handle pressure and work under tight deadlines.
• Client communication and budget tracking.
• Coordination and communication with state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of local and state design and construction standards and procedures.
• Determines project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.
• Creates feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental. impact studies and assembling data.
• Possess strong professional work ethic.
• Works independently and with a design and construction team.
• Exhibit effective communication skills with project team, agencies, and clients.
• Knowledge of design of roadway including conceptual, preliminary and detailed design work.

Degree Required: B.S. Civil Engineering

Professional Engineer license in Indiana

10+ years of experience in roadway engineering.

5+ years of experience in roadway project management (can be concurrent with engineering experience).
