An exciting opportunity for Software Engineer is available in Anderson, IN. This position will be handling software designs and will develop software applications. A successful candidate will have
experience troubleshooting electrical and controls systems including, instrumentation, data communications and electrical wiring.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs and develops software applications
Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting through the application development process
Participates in the software design through design reviews, problem solving support, analytical support, design process, and design tools
Demonstrates ability to work cross functionally for hardware and software
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in "object oriented" code, C/C++/C#, JAVA, Python, VB.net and/or embedded software development
Min of 5 years experience within power electronics
Experience or the ability to code in IEC61131-Structured Text using CodeSys but specific knowledge of those is less important than solid object-oriented coding skills
Strong working knowledge of real-time control applications, normally done by an Arduino or a PLC
including instrumentation, data communications, and electrical wiring practices with strong electrical print reading
Great Customer Service and Leadership Skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to obtain government security clearance
C+ or C++ experience preferred
Hardware experience is a benefit
Travel up to 30% is possible
