Manufacturer in the South Bend-Mishawaka area is searching for a Toolmaker on 1st shift.

Hours: 1st shift: 7:00AM to 3:30PM (flexible with start times, some people come in as early as 4AM to get out earlier) -- Ability to get 50 to 55 hours per week with optional Saturdays -- Anything after 50 hours is double-time pay

Pay: $26/hr

Job Duties: - Setting up and machining steel weldments/fixtures for the agriculture industry - Reading in-depth blueprints to assemble/weld fixtures - Benchwork machining for new parts - Using various manual machinery including: Bridgeport mills, boring mills, OD/ID Grinders, Blanchard grinder, Surface Grinder, etc. - Fitting machined parts for specified fixture building - Operating Bridgeport mills with digital readouts for X- and Y-Axis
