Description We are seeking a Senior Accountant based in Anderson, Indiana. The role primarily involves working within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on budgeting and forecasting. The successful candidate will be offered an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular account and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Perform bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions are recorded

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Use SAP for resource planning and management

• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning

• Ensure all financial records and processes comply with established standards and regulations. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries creation.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures.

• Hands-on experience with SAP software for financial management.

• Proven abilities in Budgeting and Forecasting to aid strategic planning.

• Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
